How to dye your hair

Girls, I must tell you that dying your hair is not an ordinary task; it is an art (hair coloring experts will agree).

However, life can imitate art, so you can pretty much dye your hair by yourself. But, in order to have a successful hair bleaching you must learn to prevent ruining your hair:

  • Choose the right color. Take your time; check all the color palette and compare and you can even try with on small locks to foresee the final result.
  • Once you have your color, wash your hair thoroughly. It is a common belief that dying your hair dirty is better for better dye absorption, but actually the natural hair oil actually leaves patches of different color. Therefore, to get an even coloring it is better to dye with clean hair.
  • Follow the instructions of the package by heart. Emphasize on the roots, especially on the gray hairs.
  • Divide your hair in six areas and hold them with hair clips.
  • Start from the frontal part of your hair until the nape, this is because coloring process takes time, especially in gray hair, on the frontal area. After this, comb your hair with a thick teeth comb and leave the rest of the dye for the ends. Beware of no leaving any uncovered areas.
  • The application time runs from the moment you finished dying your hair, not from the very beginning.
  • Buy an extra tube just in case you might need more. Hair coloring looks better when you apply a bit more then usual.
